Generally a professional term, tee is a pipe fitting, pipe connector, used in the main pipe to branch pipe. Equal diameter tee is a kind of tee, tee has general equal diameter tee, reducing tee two kinds. Named because the three ends can be connected to the pipe.

Equal-diameter three-way is widely used in the construction and maintenance of petrochemical, petroleum and natural gas, liquefied gas, chemical fertilizer, power plant, nuclear power, shipbuilding, paper making, pharmaceutical, food sanitation, urban construction and other industries. Pressure requirement of this kind of pipe fittings is higher in industry, maximum pressure can achieve 600 kilograms, pressure of conduit in the life is inferior, it is 16 kilograms commonly.

Because tee can be used in a variety of industries, it can be divided into the following categories according to different types:

1. According to the material classification of carbon steel, cast steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum alloy, plastic, argon, PPC, etc.

2. According to the production method, it can be divided into top making, pressing, forging, casting, etc.

3. According to the manufacturing standard, it can be divided into GB standard, electric standard, water standard, American standard, German standard, Japanese standard, Russian standard, etc.
